The Pocket Wizard CM-CE3-ACC Pre-Trigger Cable is used with the Pocket Wizard MultiMAX or FlexTT5 transceivers to provide remote shutter activation as well as "wake up" function to Canon cameras with the E3 connection, such as the entire Digital Rebel series. FlexTT5 transceiver's built-in hot shoe enables E-TTL flash exposure with remote camera triggering.
Going beyond the standard Pocket Wizard pre-trigger cables, the CM-CE3-ACC really does 2 things when combined with MultiMAX or FlexTT5 transceivers:
- It remotely fires the camera.
- It keeps the camera 'awake'.
- Necessary when using the MultiMAX or FlexTT5 to fire Canon cameras with the E3 connection
- Keeps camera 'awake', and the 'awake' function can be activated/deactivated from the transceiver
- Allows the use of remote camera triggering with E-TTL flash exposure when combined with the FlexTT5 transceiver
