Connect your compatible iPod or iPhone to the iK501 iPod Stereo System for full rich sound and bass when you want to enjoy your music, free from headphones. The iK501 features a powerful audio experience, thanks to its patent pending 6" square reflex subwoofer and full-range speakers that have 5" woofers and 3/4" tweeters. Additional refinements can be made to the system's sound quality using the rotary control knob that allows for bass and treble adjustments.
This portable unit also provides an Aux-input for connecting your other audio devices such as a CD player, laptop or MP3 player and an RCA video output for sharing your movies and videos on your television. An included remote control adds to the features of the iK501 by letting you control the basic functions of your iPod, iPhone, or the system from up close or across the room. In addition to these useful functions, the system also charges your player, ensuring that when you're ready to leave the house, your iPod or iPhone is too.

This iPod stereo sounds simply amaizing. Simple interface great remote. Sounded great out of the box, sounds even better now that it has had time to burn in. This is a very loud stereo rarely take the volume over 10, but it goes to 40! I would recommend this unit over any of the more expensive models.

I bought this product thinking this would be a big speaker box with a load sound. Well I was wrong about one thing the size! This product is small and a good desk size item so i was surprized it Bangs as load as it does neighbors are a little unhappy but O' well, it is amazing I've had it for about 3 weeks now and have had 4 backyard parties. When my 14 year old daughter heard it she couldn't believe how small and how great it sounded she took it to her room and well I'm in transition in buying another...

I use the product at my office. I work late and, even though I can't turn up the music very loud, the sound is fantastic, even the bass. It's compact, attractive, easy to carry, and, with the remote, so simple to operate. I'm really glad I bought this one.

This system rocks without putting a major dent in your wallet. The sound quality rivals other high end brands. The sub delivers deep bass that doesn't distort when cranked up.
The only drawbacks are that it doesn't include a am/fm radio and battery option for transporting.

Use this in my office.
Though I cant use its full potential here at work, it has great sound quality even at low volumes. When I first got it I tested it out at home and this thing pounds hard for its size.
Controls are easy to use and straight forward.
Comes with connectors for pretty much every iPod available.
Also looks awesome on my desk!

I bought this product from B&H Photo. I got it for a good price, plus the free shipping, which was nice. It arrived in 3 days to me, right on time per tracking code. This is a very good "boom box" or should I say "kicker box". I use it in my garage with the iPhone 4s while I am tinkering around. I usually turn it up to 14 or 15 which is plenty loud for me although I did put it on 18 and man does it "kick". I have no idea how loud it goes. I am very impressed and would buy this again. The iPhone 4s mounts right up to it so it is just plug and play and "kick". Plus it charges or keeps my iPhone charged as it plays, no running out of juice while playing music. A couple of my friends that have heard it are impressed with the sound quality of this also.

This was exactly what we needed, a "stereo" for all of our digital music. I had forgotten how great it is to have music fill the house after so many years of everyone in the family listening to their own tunes on their earbuds. This is a great price for a solid product.

Comments about KICKER iK501 iPod Dock:
From the very first minute I played this I thought "Where have you been". Absolutely amazing sound for the money. I have always been a stereo buff from my early years in the late 60's so I know when something really sounds clear and precise when just played at a moderate level and then when you turn it up where is the distortion that you expect in an inexpensive player. If it distorts, it's at a level so loud get ready for the cops to be knocking on the door.

Just received this today and am very impressed. It is more substantial than I expected and the sound is solid, deep and clear. the sub woofer definitely makes a difference. for this price range, it is unbelievable! it almost competes with my home system and I think it outperforms the bose wave radio we have. and both other systems, of course, cost a great deal more than this. the remote controls my iphone 4s very nicely too.

Comments about KICKER iK501 iPod Dock:
I purchased this iPod dock to be used on the porch and outside for BBQs. It is built very solid and has some considerable heft to it, the dock itself doesn't feel cheap at all.It comes with a remote, auxiliary cable, and adapters for many different styles and generations of iPods. The adapters are easy to switch out, but I don't use any of the adapters because it works fine without them. My brother has a Creative Zen and it works on the iK501 with the auxiliary cable. The remote feels cheap compared to the actual dock but it works fine, and is easy to get used to after playing around with it for 5 or 10 minutes. As for sound, this dock gets LOUD and sounds good doing it. You can adjust the bass and treble from -9 to +9 and the volume goes up to 40. I use it mostly outside and usually don't go past 15, but even at 15 sometimes I feel as if I'm disturbing my neighbors. I can't imagine many people even coming close to cranking it to 40, even for a house party.Overall, I think this unit is definitely worth the [$] I paid for it. Between the build and sound quality, I'm confident it will provide me with years of entertainment. I haven't heard any of the super high end iPod docks in the $400-$600 price range, but for me personally, I'd rather put that kind of money towards a pair of high end stereo speakers, not an iPod dock.

I am one of those people that wants to read reviews and research the products I purchase but when it comes right down to it I get tired head and just want to buy what I need. I needed a loud, in your face, docking station for my iPod and I got exactly what I wanted. This box ROCKS! Plug in your tunes and be prepared to be blown away. Don't get me wrong it sounds great at low level volume but when you want to crank it, which is why I purchased this is in the first place, BAM it knocks your socks off.

this is one powerful i-pod player. We bought it because we wanted a player with a remote. Did not know it would be so good!! We use it on our boat instead of the radio as it is louder. Can you believe that!!!.... The only down side is it's not all that easy to carry around, but I'm sure someone will come out with a carry case for this gem. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good sounding player with a big range in volume.

The sound quality is all there, the passive subwoofer sure helps, especially if placed in a corner. The unit is a little heavy, and wide at the bottom, so placement and transportation might be a little tricky.

Comments about KICKER iK501 iPod Dock:
I have read a lot of great reviews about this dock and have owned a lot of Kicker car audio in the past, so I had no doubts that this one will not dissapoint. I am a huge fan of silk dome tweeters and I think the sound quality and frequency coverage is perfect on this set. I haven't had a chance to turn it up past volume 15, because it is already flooding my 1200 sq ft condo with mind numbing sound, but I would assume the sound quality is just as good up to 30. Note that this puts out 40 watts RMS versus 40 watts MAX that the competition advertises. Can't wait to get a funky skin for it.
