Joby Gorillapod Flexible Mini-Tripod for Point & Shoot Cameras - Orange/Black
The Joby Gorillapod is an ultra-versatile mini-tripod that can be used with lightweight compact cameras. Its three multi-segmented flexible legs can be formed to grip almost any protrusion, be it a branch, doorknob, rock, or uneven surface.
Each of the joints can bend and rotate 360°, to wrap around objects. The bottom rubber segment on the legs are larger to allow it to be used in the traditional way.
A mini quick release system allows for fast set-up and removal.

This is a great little tripod. I have not used it on a trip yet, but have used it to tke pictures attached to a tree, fallen branches,and balanced it on a rock with no problems. It is small enough that you can just put it in your pack and go.

This is a great little tripod. I thought it was going to be bigger than it actually is but I'm glad it's smaller. Fits in my purse or daypack. The clip is small enough to fit in my camera case so I leave it on all the time- makes it easier to just slip on the tripod and shoot.
