Comments about Billingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad (Tan):
Very thick and nicely made. Stays put but also slides easily when you want it to, as in repositioning the bag.

Comments about Billingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad (Tan):
I recently received a small Billingham Hadley bag as a gift, with only the canvas shoulder strap. I wanted to add a shoulder pad for greater comfort, and the Billingham Web site suggested the SP40. (Please note that the B&H site makes a different recommendation for this bag.)
This pad is both beautiful and comfortable, made from heavy leather that looks and smells like a fine saddle, and with a contoured foam pad for greater comfort. It snaps securely onto the Hadley's canvas strap, enhancing both its appearance and comfort. I highly recommend this as an add-on to your Billingham bag.

Comments about Billingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad (Tan):
Yes, it is not cheap, but it worth the money you spend. Very good quality, very thick pad, and very comfortable. It is good to pad your shoulder or chest while look really stylish! A must buy! Don't buy SP15, it is old version of this one, and it doesn't come with thick pad. SP40 or SP50 is the better choice!

With the addition of a few lenses and accessories your camera bag no longer weighs ounces but pounds. Treat your shoulder to the matching leather shoulder pad. No regrets.

Comments about Billingham SP40 Leather Shoulder Pad (Tan):
I was surprised with the quality of the pad when I received it. The cushion was thicker and more solid than I was expecting. I usually carry only one camera and one lens, but it really helps support my shoulder when I have to carry several heavy gears in the bag. There is a downside with it though. I'm not going to say it is a bit expensive because it is a option you may not take. [...]Overall, I love it's quality, color and design. It is very recommended.
