The Billingham SP50 Shoulder Pad (Tan) is a contemporary style pad made to fit bags with a 2.0" wide straps. The oversized pad is made from 3.0mm top grain leather with closed cell foam padding and a neoprene gripper to provide comfort and grip. The strap attaches under loops that use a press stud to close.

I was skeptical about paying [$] to upgrade my Billingham 445 shoulder pad but I must say it was worth every penny. The original pad was so thin that the strap left marks on my shoulder with the bag loaded. The SP50 has more padding than I had expected (approximately ¼ inch closed cell foam). The foam is also arranged in 5 smaller sections so it conforms to your shoulder for more comfort and grip. Amazing how such a small item can make such a dramatic difference.
