Love this printer so far. I have dedicated Epson professional photo printers fro my photography work, but use a basic printer for my office needs. This HP6000 answered all my needs. The wireless setup was a piece of cake! No more cables and I can print from any PC in the house, plus my laptop. Print quality (test and web images) is much better than my previous low-end Epson (C88) and Canon printers. It prints fast and seems to do better on ink that my previous printers.Got this one on sale for[$] on Thanksgiving morning and could not pass up.Yesterday I upgraded my PC from XP to Windows 7 64-bit and this printer loaded automatically. didn't have to do anything. I have not tried it for any high-quality photo printing, but did not intend to use it for that anyways.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer:
This printer, being auto duplex takes up some space. The duplex attachment sticks out the back just as far as the print tray sticks out the front. You will need 24 sq. in. space to sit this printer. That's not a real issue if you're going wireless or using the Ethernet port, because you can sit it in a remote location. This printer will need to be placed close to a power source, because the power cord is ridicules short.
Make sure you have a USB cord handy even if you plan on going wireless, one is not supplied with it.
That's pretty much the negatives about it, if you view that as negative. oh, like to forgot. You have to install the cartrage holder into the printer, which is a design flaw on HP's behalf. And the ussaul bloatware drivers that HP known for now.
This is really a great printer to have though.

The first printer I ordered didn't work. However, after contacting HP about it, they sent me a replacement and paid for shipping the faulty printer back. Now, I'm satisfied, and can even print from my iPhone.

I use this printer on my home network, and it works well with Windows XP, Vista 32 bit and Vista 64 bit. I think it's a bit crazy that the drivers are well over 100 megabytes -- the printer takes a long time to get set up on each machine. Print quality seems fine, although I haven't used the printer much yet.

This was a gift for my daughter. She is thrilled to have a wireless printer. It took some time for her to get it installed on her PC and running. She tried to add this printer to her father's laptop and it also seemed to take a long time.

Pros:-Cheap--I bought it on sale for $47 [...]Low cost of prints-Wireless, so anyone in the house/office can print to it without cables.Cons:-Difficult to configure the wireless; make sure you have a TCP/IP connection-HP's install CD puts loads of bloatware on your computer. Conclusion: I would buy it again, but it was a pain to get the wireless reliably set up.

This is a work from home printer, perfect desk top size. It is convenient being wireless since I use a laptop in various areas of the house. Printing on both sides reduces paper consumption and great color. No cons.

Have only been using it for a few weeks but very pleased with wireless reception and quality of print. Photos print beautifully as well as other documents. I especially like the ability to stop a printing project without having to go into the computer control panel to do so. Also pleased with the size..just right for a smaller space.

This printer suits our needs perfectly. We use this printer in lab and medical settings to print reports from our medical device to help doctors get the info they need to care for patients. Its printouts are fast, clear, and of high color quality which is important for our graphs.

We own a few of these printers and use them for tradeshows, etc. They are inexpensive and work well for this purpose as the wireless gives us flexibility. Remember to purchase replacement ink because the amount that ships with the printer won't get you very far (low yield cartridges.

This printer works great for our family. Not to loud, prints fast on single side, black ink.
The printer does go offline quite a bit but I'm not sure if it is the printers fault, or some other problem. (It's offline about once a day.)
Easy setup for someone that knows NOTHING about computers.

I didn't think to look at how big this thing would be. It is huge. Also you can't fold up the paper tray to store it away. IT is very noisy and I can't figure out what all the noises it makes means. . . But it is a great quality printer. What it spits out looks great :)
