The affordable Officejet 6000 Network Printer is designed for small business users wanting an energy-efficient, network-ready printer capable of delivering professional-quality color and black-and-white at a low cost per page (up to 40% less per color page than with laser printers). The Officejet 6000 delivers maximum print speeds of 32ppm in black and 31ppm in color. It can also print in laser-quality black and color at speeds up to 7 pages per minute.
The Officejet 6000 has a large-capacity 250-sheet input tray that accommodates a wide variety of paper types and sizes. It comes with 4 standard capacity (approx. 300 color & 420 black pages) ink cartridges that yield bold blacks and vivid color without smearing when used with HP papers and Officejet Inks. Users save money by only replacing the cartridges that are depleted and can realize added savings by using high-capacity cartridges that yield approximately 1200 pages in black, and 700 in color.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Officejet 6000 Network Printer:
Works fine. For set up, I installed print head and cartridges, plugged router cable to wireless modem and printer, turned on, chose a file to print and then chose "nearby printers" from the printer list and then chose the officejet 6000 and then hit print and that was it, no instalation cd, nothing, but that was on a Mac..

I use this in our home as our main network printer for all OS' including Linux, OS X and Windows. Great print/photo quality.
I really like the low costs for ink cartridge replacement as well.
I highly recommend it.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Officejet 6000 Network Printer:
I found the product very easy to set-up, even for a guy who doesn't use Apple compatible products very much. I only use it for personal printing but it does great work on everything that I throw at it.

I'm really happy with this product so far. Easy to set up with only a few bumps. I could have used some more trouble shooting literature.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Officejet 6000 Network Printer:
This printer is ideal in all ways except one - setting it up on a network. In all fairness, I was trying to set it up on an older network which might have been part of the problem. But the instructions, help and on-line support were woefully inadequate - especially since I am a computer software designer, so this should have been a snap. But it is up and running now and it is everything I expected - especially at this price point.
