I use my Droid Phone as a 4G modem for the laptop on the road so it needs a charge whenever possible.
500mA of juice from the Hub is just enough to keep the phone from loosing power when the phone is being pushed.
Having a CF card reader is a big plus.
The hub works as designed.

After buying too many cheap card readers and USB hubs I decided to try something made by IOGEAR. I've not been disappointed although it's a little tricky getting a type 1 CF card in the slot because there's a lot of vertical clearance (probably to support other types of CF cards.) Hence the 4 stars. Having vertical USB ports on two sides allows for easier connections from different directions -- a nice feature. Overall, a well thought out product of good design.

This port reads so many different things and at the same time, it's great. And having five USB port is perfect when you need extra ports, my only wish is that you didn't have to plug it into an outlet to use, but I guess that's why it works so well. I like that I don't need a separate card reader for all the cards I have, this takes them all.

I bought this because my canon digital SLR camera was taking too long to be recognized when plugged into the USB port and then to find my pictures on my apple computer. Was worried it wouldn't work with an apple but it works great. Finds and uploads pics in a min or so. It was a lot more lightweight then I was expecting which made me think there is not much to it. The extra USB ports are also really handy as this sits below the monitor and so I can have 2 front USB ports.

this replaced a Ultra all in one reader that just died and Ultra no longer makes. It is doing everything i have asked of it with no failures. So if your looking for an all in one i this is best one out there for now.

A USB hub and camera card reader in one device - what is not to like? Family members with various camera cards can now add their grandchild pictures to my collection. USB ports are also far and few between on Macs so having five more of them is a good thing. Product worked right out of the box. Highly recommended.

Easy set-up and connectivity. Allowed me to remove my "all the time" hardware items from USB ports to make room for plug-ins I only occasionally use. Price was competitive, and leaves a small footprint on top of my CPU. Recognized and quickly loaded my CF cards. Very happy with the item.

Reads my 16GB camera card and runs my USB stuff plugged into the device. Flat box (that's good) with little rubber feet on the bottom to prevent sliding around the desk. Works well, good price.

There's not much to say about a product like this. Either it works, or it doesn't. Mine works. Set up was easy. I didn't need a driver for my Mac running Snow Leopard. I use it standing on end, so I guess it had some feet to make it more stable. But, it doesn't fall over, so it's not an issue. 5 stars does it.

I purchased this hub/reader to place next to my TV since my computer is behind the wall. This hub was reasonably priced, has a power adapter, reads all the obligatory cards and is well built. While you may be able to find a cheaper hub, it will be of lower quality as well. I am happy with this product.

I love this thing. The 3 USB ports on the right side are great for external hard drives and the two on the front work extremely well for incidental stuff that you may need to hook up for a short time like a wacom tablet. The card reader works like a champ, and the whole device looks pretty sharp and fits very well on the foot of my iMac.
