    Meet the youngest sibling in the Speedo family--the Speedotron 1005 Power Supply. This rugged, dust-proof power pack can be dialed down from 1000 w/s to 44 w/s (22 w/s using two heads) in 1/4 f-stop stages to make subtle lighting changes quickly. Up to 4 flash heads can operate symmetrically or asymmetrically, giving you plenty of choices on location or in the studio. Low voltage trigger connection makes the 1005 safe for digital cameras. With a top recycling speed of 1.75 seconds at full power, the 1005 makes a great choice for corporate portraits, interiors, and much more.

    The Speedotron Black Line 202VF Flash Head is a compact, universal light unit with 7" reflector and UV-corrected flashtube. It incorporates a focusing reflector mount which permits variable narrow to wide-angle coverage with all Black Line reflectors and accessories.

    All Black Line light units utilize modular construction for easy storage and travel and are cabled with the new locking/quick-release power supply connector (compatible with all older Black Line power supplies). A power supply for this flash head is required.

    The Speedotron/Photek 54" Umbrella with Removable Black Backing, enables it to be used as a makeshift softbox, when mounted on your Speedotron flash head or monolight.

    This 54" size is perfect for a 3 - 4 person head-to-waist shot, or 4 x 6' product setup. It will illuminate ~16 sq ft.

    • Unique construction consisting of ten panels instead of the usual eight gives more reflective surface, more perfect circle of light - more flattering catch lights in the subject's eyes.
    • The removable black nylon cover stops all stray and ricochet, enhancing total light control
    • With removal of its black cover and a reversal of direction, the Softlighter II becomes a "softbox" -- a shoot-through diffuser, providing light that can be used either as a main light source or as a flattering fill.
    • Note: For mounting shoe mount flash units to the Softlighter II a shoe mount light stand/umbrella adapter is necessary. Shoe mount flash units must be set to Manual because the entire flash will be inside the umbrella (unless the flash unit is equipped with a remote sensor).
    • Note: For strobe use only -- not for use with hot lights, or modeling lights over 200 watts.
