Brother DCP-8085DN Laser Multi-Function Copier with Duplex Printing & Networking
The Brother DCP-8085DN Monochrome Laser Multi-function Copier combines high-speed, high-quality laser printing, copying and color
scanning, to yield crisp, professional-looking output. It features an embedded automatic duplexer for two-sided printing, a 50-page Automatic Document Feeder, and a 300-page paper capacity to keep production flowing. It can accommodate an optional high-yield toner cartridge (approx. 8000 prints) to help lower operating costs.
The DCP-8085DCN is network ready with built-in Ethernet, high-speed USB 2.0, and parallel interfaces and is compatible with a wide variety of software applications via PCL 6 and BR-Script 3 emulations. Additionally, a USB direct interface allows you to print from or scan to your
USB flash memory drive. This copier offers valuable features to help improve the efficiency and productivity of any size workgroup.

I replaced a dying Brother MFC-8860DN multifunction printer that was near its end of life; barring purchasing a costly fuser. We kept the MFC-8860DN as a backup. It made more financial sense to invest in a newer printer sans faxing feature. The choice to purchase a Brother MFC-8085DN was a no brainer. We are mainly a Brothers printer shop because of their durability and affordability to own. The only parts we have ever replaced on any of the Brother printers were the consumables, toner and drum. The MFC-8085DN does a good job at printing, scanning and copying and it is fast. We particularly like the duplex copying and printing capabilities as we are a company that strives to be as green as possible. It was easy to unpack, operate, and configure on the network. I'm very pleased with my purchase and anticipate using it for years.
