Comments about Ewa-Marine SplashiX for Large Cameras w/ Lenses Up to 1.30" (3.3cm) Long:
The splashx was used on a LX-5 from Panasonic. It worked well and kept the camera dry. Two items to note. Some photos did not focus correctly. I was using the camera out of the water after having it in the water and the auto focus got confused and focused on the waterproof lens instead of the subject. Also, the camera can slightly shift inside the case causing the lens ring from the case to appear in the photo. (vignetting) I think this was because the lx-5 has a really wide angle lens and once I zoomed in, it worked much better.

Comments about Ewa-Marine SplashiX for Large Cameras w/ Lenses Up to 1.30" (3.3cm) Long:
Used with a Canon A710IS for snorkeling photography. Picture quality and watertight seal are good however there are several down sides. It is difficult to get the camera in and out of the bag because the plastic sticks to the camera. When inside the bag buttons can be pressed but the "mode" wheel on top of the camera is impossible to turn and zooming in and out is very difficult. The lens housing covers up the autofocus beam and part of the flash. I would suggest looking into the hard plastic enclosures that are made specifically for a given camera (couldn't fine one for the A710)
