Comments about Morris DS-3 Digital Slave Trigger With Phone Jack:
Sometimes completely satisfactory is as good as it can get. That's the way it is with the Morris DS-3 Digital Slave Trigger. It doesn't sharpen your images or correct focus or improve your composition. It just fires your strobe. Without a wire to trip over. And it does it every time. I hook my Nikon D3 to the nearest light with a hot shoe extension cord or PC cord, and set up a slave or two with the DS3 slave trigger. I shoot in Manual mode and use an incident meter to get the optimal speed and aperture settings
Not so hot? Well, the detector kind of has to be pointed toward the master flash. It won't fire in a really dark room if it's pointed away from the master. That's about it. Completely satisfactory.
