I ordered this product to fill a need for a spot monitor in a video capture system in a church. It worked for about 30 minutes then died. I contacted B&H and they promptly emailed RMA info. I had the replacement the next day. My account was charged for the second unit and my account was not credited for the first unit for about two weeks. This is just one of the online shopping shortcomings that you have to deal with which makes the decision to buy at B&H more important because you know they will make any problems right. B&H is a very reputable online retailer in this respect and their pricing is almost always competitive. The second unit works ok, with the exception of an occassional flicker but the cost is about a fifth of what a true "Broadcast" quality spot monitor would cost so as always, you get what you pay for. I cannot comment on the TV channel reception because we don't use that part of the unit for this application.

I use this product as a monitor for my camcorder;
my 1995 dinosaur. lol! Works great:would reccomend to anyone, especially those with low vision. Use instead of that little dinky monitor
on newer camcorders.

Out of the box the unit searched for over the air broadcasts and put them in memory. Both SD and 1080i reception is available and works well from the antenna. But I bought the unit to act as a remote monitor to my Sony VX2000 camcorder and with composite cable and one-touch switching it takes on that role beautifully. My one concern is the nature of the threaded connector along the bottom edge of the unit. It must be there to secure the unit to a stand or perhaps a hot shoe accessory but I haven't figured out how to find that thing.

The Price for the 9 inch was a great deal. Most 7 inchers and less are sold for a similar or greater price. It is a Kitchen dream, small footprint and large screen are best view from any angle.

It was a birthday gift for my Wife. She has found it very fun to watch while she is at the kitchen.

The setup menus is user friendly and reception is good. Due to my geographical location reception is good and more channels can be seen in other parts of the house and outdoors.

Don't expect HD from it,the LCD screen show very good definition but not the sharpness or colors of a true HDTV, it is a small portable TV with very good image. Does not have wall mount option.
