The 12big Rack Fibre SAN Mapping License from LaCie is an additional license for the StorView SAN mapping software that ships with the 12big Rack Fibre hard drive array system. Adding a license allows you to install the software on an additional computer, facilitating management of the array from more than one computer.
The StorView software allows you to configure SAN LUN Mapping, which controls which hosts have access to which logical drives within a SAN environment. You can manage up to 512 SAN LUN mappings with this software.
