Comments about Nikon GP-1-CA90 Accessory Cable:
This cable is a replacement for the original that came with the GP-1. As a piece of equipment it is nothing less than perfect. My complaint is about the high price for a small cable. I use it to connect the GPS unit to my D90. On my D3X I use the other cable supplied. I had to buy this cable because the original had its wires broken. This was caused by my practice of placing the camera in my bag with the GPS mounted on it and the cable connected. No, I was not lazy, the camera is kept on with the GPS connected, so I do not need to wait till it finds the position for each shot I take. This useful equipment should be better designed, with this kind of extensive use in mind. Better, I now choose cameras with the GPS inside.

Comments about Nikon GP-1-CA90 Accessory Cable:
At first this did not work with my new D7000. Fortunately I was able to prove the D7000 was at fault and it was replaced.
The GPS socket on the D7000 seems flimsy. The cord is not.
