The CyberPower Home/Office Surge Protector (6-Outlet, 4' Cord, 900 Joules) is designed to protect TVs, stereos, CD players and other small electronic devices from line noise, spikes, and strong surges. Using MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology, the protector grounds the excess current, protecting itself and the connected electrical equipment from damage. EMI / RFI shielding helps block line noise that negatively affects the performance of your connected electronic device. Widely spaced outlets allow you to attach large transformer-based plugs without compromising on the utility of other outlets.
