The Hitachi KP-F30 is a high performance B/W CCTV camera optimized for use in factory automation and image processing environments. Aside from its outstanding image quality and signal stability, Hitachi provided this camera with a number of features unique to image processing operations. These include selectable shutter modes, an external trigger function, and the ability to withstand short term shock and vibration.

8 Step Electronic Shutter
With various shutter modes to chose from, higher resolution in the vertical direction can be achieved for moving objects as compared with the conventional shutter function.
Compact & Rugged Design
Special consideration went into the design of the camera in order to keep it as small as possible. Of equal importance is its durable construction, which together with the camera's compactness will allow its use with tight-fitting and heavy-duty machinery.
Frame-on-Demand Function
A frame-on-demand function is available for capturing moving objects at a desired timing. In the one trigger mode of operation, the rising edge of the trigger pulse starts the exposure, the duration of the trigger pulse controls the integration time, and the falling edge of the trigger pulse resets vertical sync and delivers the triggered image.
