Comments about Netgear 85Mbps Powerline Network Adapter:
I didn't even load their software, it worked right out of the box. The only thing you have to know is the neither unit can be plugged into a surge protector or extension cord. I had been going crazy trying to get a wireless adapter to work in my garage...with absolutely no luck and after many calls to tech support. The Powerline worked immediately with decent throughput speeds.

Comments about Netgear 85Mbps Powerline Network Adapter:
Have one network adapter attached to a Panasonic blue ray player to access Amazon video on demand and other similar services on the unit. Videos download with no issues. Have three others for computers. No noticeable difference in speeds on the computers vs. direct connection to the router.
