B+W 30.5mm Clear MRC 007M Filter
The B+W 30.5mm Clear MRC 007M Filter is a simple, clear filter designed for general protection for your lens. This optically clear filter does not affect the overall image quality while helping reduce dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens.
The Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) is both an anti-reflection coating as well as a protective surface. It helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, it offers greater protection to the filter substrate and stays cleaner for longer than uncoated filters.
B+W filters are constructed from high quality Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. They feature a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

I use this for my Pentax DA40mm. It's a hefty piece of filter. Feels very solid and dense for its size. Makes the lens feels more balance in weight - the barrel feels a little light-weight without the filter. I had originally used a 49mm filter on the lens but decided to reduce the lens overall thickness by using this 30.5mm filter that fits beneath the hood, perfectly. I should really have gotten this earlier. Highly recommended to all DA40 owners. I waited more than two months for stock replenishment. Seems like there are some extra pieces at the moment. Grab them fast! B+W filters are simply the best in its class.
