The AW850 from Acoustic Research is a high-quality wireless outdoor speaker that makes it easy to enjoy your favorite songs practically anywhere. The speaker features a stylish lantern-style design with a classic aged copper look. An integrated lamp provides bright illumination, allowing you to replace your current outdoor light fixture. The speaker has a pair of 3" woofers and a pair of 2" tweeters to provide clear sound with a wide frequency response.
The included 900MHz wireless transmitter can connect to your home stereo, computer, MP3 player, or other device to send stereo audio up to 150' to the speaker. There are 3 selectable broadcast channels, with push button auto-lock tuning. The speaker has a left/right/mono switch, letting you choose to use it as a stand-alone speaker, or with additional speakers. The transmitter and speaker operate on AC power, and all necessary mounting hardware is included.

Am really impressed with the high-end look of the product. This speaker looks & sounds great! The installation/set-up process is as easy as it gets.
There are only two negatives that I've noticed: 1) A remote would be nice...As it stands now, power, volume, etc. are all controled on the bottome of the speaker.
2) Would like for the power to automatically switch on when the house's light switch is turned on. As it stands now, I have to flip the light switch, then turn the speaker on. (Note: the speaker's light can be controlled from the speaker itself, so just because the light switch in the house is turned on does not mean that the light will always be on when the speaker is running) This negative is nothing that takes away from the great product...just makes it seem a bit clunky to turn it on initially.)

The product is beautiful and the look I was going for, but the term "wireless" is not true. They have to be mounted to the wall or we are going to have to maneuver it so it can work.
