Comments about Canon CP790 Selphy Compact Photo Printer:
I use this product mostly for scrapbooking, as well as printing pictures of my house guests on card size stickers next to their comments in the guest book.
I wanted this mostly for printing on small sticky labels for a guest book and scrap book and considered getting the Polaroid PoGo. The resolution of these images from the PoGo are not great. This product for me is worth the extra price of printer and ink for the long-lasting nice photo.
I would not use photo printers in general to print tons of photos at once since ink is not so inexpensive but for quick prints this is great!

Comments about Canon CP790 Selphy Compact Photo Printer:
The color is amazing, as is the ease of use.
I think that for the money it is a good printer; however perhaps in the future Canon should include a monitor that tilts, rather than staying flat on the printer. This would alleviate neck strain.
A USB port would be useful that supports flash drives.
Also support on the printer for XD cards should be included.
Also noted that canon produces some very fine, cameras, and if you have some special photgraphs that are not printed according to your specifications, try this printer; be aware this may be a big improvement over some ink jet printers including some other commercial labs.
Also included on the printer are editing options
and features which enhance the photo.
The only major downside for some consumers is that the print size is limited to 4 X 6 photos; however 95% of what I print is 4X6, so this is not an issue.
