Had to upgrade from Vista 32 bit operating system to Windows 7 64 bit operating system to run Adobe CS5 Master Collection. Loaded easily, and seamlessly. Opens much more quickly than Vista and I like the windows 7 live free download. I think Microsoft is still trying to copy the Mac desktop layout, but I like the ootion of putting my links on the taskbar.

I PUSCHASED THE FULL VERSION FROM B&H. IT ALLOWED ME TO BOOT FROM THE WIN 7 DISC, PARTION MY HARD DRIVE, RE-FORMAT MY HARD DRIVE & DO A FULL CLEAN INSTALL. IT RUNS SMOOTH BUT IS NO FASTER THEN EARLIER VERSIONS. NOTWITHSTANDING, GOOD PRICE FROM B&H FAST SERVICE AND QUICK DRLIVERY. ALSO, I CAN'T FIND A WAY TO CREAT A SYS RESTORE POINT, HOWEVER, IT DOSE CREATE A WIN 7 BOOT DISK.
NOTE: ACER NOTEBOOK, AMD TRUION 8 YEARS OLD.

Comments about Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (32- or 64-bit):
Old HD crashed on XP (oem) so I purchased a new HD and Windows 7 as Windows 8 release is too far away. OS Install was easy and done in minutes. Not too many things installed in PC, just Microsoft Office 2010 for my kids. Things generally have been working better with Windows 7. I only have issues with IE9 where text overlaps with each other when scrolling the screen - may not be a Windows 7 issue but I thought I'd bring it up. Also, my kids sometimes get a blue screen (or shut offs) while playing flash heavy online games, but then again it might be more of a hardware issue than Windows 7, as this PC experienced it under XP as well. Pretty happy though with the upgrade to Windows 7 in general.

I'm a Mac user, but recently I've needed to run bootcamp. Great install disk for it. I'm not crazy about the operating system personally, but that's probably because I'm not used to the interface.

It took me a while to figure out how to start my computer running on cd drive but once I did, 64-bit installation was a breeze. I'm loving using all of my installed ram.

Comments about Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (32- or 64-bit):
This has got to be the best Windows ever. Quick install, easy to set up and even kept my previous version of Windows in a file called Windows Old so I could go back and get anything I forgot.
