Comments about Toyo-View 4x5 45AII Metal Field Camera:
This is the most versatile and sturdy field camera I have ever used, having started in 4X5 at the age of 15 and that was 61 years ago.. While wooden cameras are charming to look at and they save about 3 or fewer pounds on your back, they do not provide the smoothness of control nor the rigidity of this one. Also, you can buy many adapters and accessories for it from many sources and most are well-made. This camera, with the right accessories, can be no heavier than a full SLR or DSLR outfit. About 20lbs including pack and 4 lenses does it.
Just do yourself a favor and get this one.

Comments about Toyo-View 4x5 45AII Metal Field Camera:
I have traveled with this camera to Canada and Europe. It is like an old friend.
I use it for portraiture, scenic, and architectural photography.
For architecture, it's not as fast as a monorail, but is definitely doable.
I have used lenses from 55 to 210.
Works like a dream with Toyo roll film holders.
