At last, an easy way to mount the VholdR ContourHD up to a standard tripod mount. This will allow me a lot more flexibility in how I can use the camera, especially for shots where you want the camera mounted on something stationary while the action goes past the camera. A friend is anxious to let me mount it on his R/C plane, and we had trouble trying to figure out how to mount the camera to get the best angle shot. He has a threaded mount, but until now there was no way to attach the camera to it. Can't wait until we get the chance to try it out now.

I just bought this mount and I can't push it all the way onto the rails of the camera. the universal mount has dimples in the middle of the piece and when pushed into the camera, it locks in the beginning of the rails and not at the end. this thing is so fragile and extremely tight that i wouldn't want to force anything. trying to push it in with the safety wire is impossible.

I shoot many action sports with this camera monted on sport bikes, dirt bikes, MT Bikes and skiing. The adapter which comes with this camera is quite loose. Finaly this is a real firm attachment to the bike or helmet. A must if you want a pro looking footage and of course if you wish to attach it to a tripod.
