Speed up your home's wireless network with Linksys's Wireless-N Home Router. The wireless router utilizes 802.11n standards and is able to transfer data at a bitrate of up to 600Mbps with a strong signal throughout your home, so multiple computers can simultaneously stream HD videos, use VoIP, or play online games without lag. The router is easy to set up using your web browser or the included Network Magic and Setup Wizard software. Devices utilizing Wireless-B or -G signals instead of -N can connect to the router without issue, since the router is backwards compatible.

- Even if there are wireless devices in your home that aren't Wireless-N compatible, they can still connect to the router using a Wireless-B or -G signal.

- The router contains 2 internal antennas to ensure strong signals with a wide range.

- Connect manually to computers, printers, or other wired devices through the available Ethernet ports on the back of the router.

This replaced older Linksys G 2.4 which was very user unfriendly to install and deal with. When it died I bought this and the set up was a breeze.
It comes with a wizard that even a complete novice can easily follow to complete the installation. Piece of cake! Very refreshing.
My only complaint is that after the installation is complete it prompts you to install Network Magic which I did assuming it was necessary and part of the package. Then once that is done it prompts you to use it to replace the Microsoft network software. I did not elect to do it as the Microsoft network manager works fine as is. What is really annoying, is that Network Magic is in the form of free trial version which ends after 10 days or so and it pops up to ask you to register it and probably pay for it. I have removed this unnecessary software.
A side from that little annoyance the router works great!

Had very hard time going wireless. Had to call for help which I had to do .twice. First call Lady couldn't help me she told me I had to

This isn't the fastest router on the market, but it's a great product for the price. Easy to set up and uses the same security interface as other Linksys routers. I saw a significant increase in the range of my network from the old G signal.
