Compatible with any video camera or portable audio recorder with a mini-plug mic input
The MZ-V8 from JVC is a stereo microphone that can be mounted on the shoe of a video camera. It's compatible with any video camera or portable recorder that features a mini-plug microphone input that sends "plug-in power" to the microphone (most consumer devices with a mini-plug mic input provide plug-in power). The MZ-V8 will improve the sound quality over the video camera's built-in microphones.
A right angle mini-plug extension is included. This adapter is handy when the built-in straight plug protrudes too far out from the camera. The MZ-V8 also includes a mount that fits into a standard camera shoe. The short cable on the MZ-V8 will not sag or droop when mounted on a camera. A wind screen is provided for outdoor use.
