Comments about Aluratek 3G Wireless USB Cellular Router:
I needed to update the firmware before I could use my Sprint 4G card but once I did it worked like magic. This is definitely not a tool for a beginner setting up a network.

Comments about Aluratek 3G Wireless USB Cellular Router:
The directions are a joke. I spent 5 hours trying to figure out how to get the router installed. I finally tossed the directions and read through the instructions on the enclosed CD. Those directions were pretty awful too; however, I figured out what the IP address needed to be set to and finally got the thing installed...
Of course, I still can't use it cause even though it shows that I have an internet connection, I cannot pull up any web sites.
Unless you are an expert at setting up wireless networks, don't purchase this product...it's too complicated.

Comments about Aluratek 3G Wireless USB Cellular Router:
I spent a week attempting to connect this to a 3G Sprint Sierra 595u card. This card is listed on their connection list so it should work. Must have spent 10 hours with it, including 2 hours with their tech support. At first the tech said it was broken, then decided it might be working. It never worked. They have bugs in this unit, and need to fix the software. Wait until then.
As a comparison, Netgear has a similar product with a review stating "connects in 2 minutes". This is true, I must have spent 15 minutes total to have an operational 3G network. Spend the extra $25 and save a lot of wasted time.
