The Pearstone Bounce Dome (Diffuser) for Nikon SB-900 & SB-910 Speedlights will diffuse the light output of the flash, producing softer shadows and a softer, more natural glow rather than the harsher effect when using a direct flash. The diffuser provides even coverage across the entire frame.
The Bounce Dome simply slides onto and off the flash with custom fitting, without the need for touch fastener tabs.

A diffuser is an absolute must if you work with flash photography. Flash light can be very harsh and contrasty and will give your photos that ugly "tourist snapshot" look. Adding a diffuser softens the light considerably, giving your subjects a more pleasing look. Combine the diffuser with bouncing the flash off the wall and your pictures will come out even better.

Was under the impression when I bought this item that it was the factory replacement for the diffuser that came with the 900. This item does fit and works fine but is a bit flimsy and doesn't secure to the flash as well as the factory diffuser.
