The Eee Box from ASUS is a compact desktop computer, built with home and office use in mind. The small computer is the epitome of elegance, boasting pleasing aesthetics and extremely quiet operation.
The system is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, and boasts 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive capacity, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Intel GMA graphics. The computer's operating system is Linux.
The Eee Box manages to balance performance, size, and power consumption. While its Atom CPU may not be the fastest in the world, it generates less heat and consumes less power than high-end desktop CPUs. This allows the Eee Box to be small and quiet, while still providing enough processing horsepower to run home, office, and Internet applications.
