The Creative Light 38" White/Silver Reflector has a spring-loaded design that pops open to its full 38" (95 cm) diameter, ready to go with 2 different reflective surfaces: a silver reflector on one side gives you a high-contrast light with neutral color temperature, and the white fabric side gives you the neutral color temperature, but with softer, less contrasty light.

I was worried that by not buying the very most expensive brand it might have a flimsy build quality, or particularly a flimsy thin outer hoop. No worries. This is very solid and has a fat durably-padded stiff outer hoop. I use the reflector to take pictures if the kids. Since they are only in Kindergarten or younger, the 38 inches is plenty big and then some. If I were shooting adults or couples I might have wanted a 45" reflector.
The white side really does reflect light, which I had really been doubting. I actually think I like the white effect better than the silver side. It is beautiful, but it is subtle, so you do have to hold it close to your subject to be effective. I would reccomend it. The only thing I might do differently if I was doing it over would be to maybe get an even larger one.

IM A STARTER IN PHOTOGRAPHY AND HAVE BEEN BUYING ALOT OF EQIPMENT BUT FIRST I GO THREW THE REVIEWS TO DOUBLE CHECK IF WHAT IM ABOUT TO PURCHASE IS A GOOD PRODUCT FOR ME OR NOT SO GOOD. AND IM GLAD TO HAD READ THE REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT AND DECIDED TO BUY IT BECUS IT IS VERY GOOD, BIG AND SUFFICANT TO USE. EASY TO PUT BACK INTO CASE TAKES A FEW PRACTICES BUT YOU WILL GET THE HANG OF IT. THIS PRODUCT I USED FOR BOTH IN AND OUT DOOR SHOOTS. WITH A EXTRA HAND YOU CAN DEFF MAKE THIS BABE SHINE.

I use this reflector to add light to shaded areas mainly shooting indoors for an interior designer. I can see using it for a main light when the ambient light is strong and you just want some highlight on your subject.

This reflector is well made, has a nice storage bag and was exactly what I needed. It is also bigger than I expected which is a good thing. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reflector.

Its cheap, it comes in a cool case, reflector is big, the outer metal rim of the reflector is very thick and it seems incredibly strong and durable
End of the day its just a reflector but its very stylish, as described and better quality then i expected
Its great for reflecting light from the sun onto ur subject, and also for bouncing lights off - its also a perfect size and fits nicely in my kata lighting kit

Great reflector for a good price, its handy to reflect natural light onto your subjects. MAde very well and folds up into a circle with a 12 inch diameter. Great for outdoor portraits

Reflectors can change up a lighting situation very quickly- I would recommend these quite strongly to those of us on a low budget who don't have the time or money for expensive lighting setups.
