Probably the most basic light modifier in the photography world--the umbrella. Light reflecting off the umbrella's interior spreads out to cover a wide area. Umbrellas are easy to use, easy to store and easy to transport, and provide you with almost unlimited lighting possibilities. The Creative Light 25" Silver Umbrella's silver interior gives you a contrasty, directional light.

Comments about Creative Light 25" Silver Umbrella:
You know most umbrellas are made cheaply and they usually break fast. I didn't used this umbrella long enough to back up with the direct experience, but by looking and feeling this umbrella, I can tell that the fabric is a bit better than usual. It's not heavy vinyl like Hensel or Lastollite stuff, but it has ripstop in the fabric. However, in my experience, the most vulnerable parts of umbrellas are the latch and the spoke. This umbrella looks like using a stainless steel or similar hard metal, and it feels sturdier. Better build quality than Westcott and Lastolite. This puts the Elinchrom umbrellas to shame. If they manufacture this umbrella with a 7mm shaft, I'll throw out ALL Elinchrom umbrellas I own.

I have only used this umbrella once but it seemed to work well with the other umbrella I had. I am looking forward to using it at an upcoming wedding in November.
Comes with a nice carrying bag.

Comments about Creative Light 25" Silver Umbrella:
GREAT product. most umbrellas ive used are pretty flimsy and ive bought them knowing that i will have to replace them at some point, a kind of expectation of failure. with creative light i received the opposite! the extra cost is WELL worth it. the fabric is nice and very sturdy and the ribs and shaft are rock solid. from this point forth i will buy my light mods from CL.
side note:
the shaft is very short (due to the small size of the umbrella), this is great because i can fit it in my back pack. it would be great for quick on location light setups and makes me feel even more ever-ready for shooting
