I was excited to get this little stand just in time for an international assignment. I opened the box, packed it in my suitcase and hit the skies. Unfortunately, within 20 mins of unpacking it, one of the easily loosened knobs fell off rendering the stand useless for the trip.
Emails to Creative Light to get a replacement parts have not yet been replied to (3 attempts over the past year). They do not have a phone number listed. Useless customer support.
I have since lost two more knobs - they are just too loose! (i keep replacing them with manfrotto parts since they are the same)
The lesson.. just buy the manfrotto version. At least they will support the product.
