Behind the sleek piano black exterior of the KDL-52W4500 52" Multi System LCD TV from Sony lies a host of advanced features that represent the evolution of the Sony HDTV. It's an HDTV-ready TV that delivers 1080p high-definition picture and impressive stereo sound. The S-Force audio system provides the effect of surround sound with only two speakers.
1080p resolution is the highest HD standard available for maximum performance from your Blu-ray player and gaming consoles, but the supporting cast of features are what makes the TV extraordinary. 24pTrue Cinema allows the panel to display true-to-life images at the same frame rate, resulting in a more genuine cinematic look. Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE) with dynamic backlight control brings out the sort of deep, rich blacks and shadows that seemed unattainable on an LCD panel even a short time ago. In addition to 3D comb filter and image panel driver, the unit has three distinct imaging circuits including a one-chip video processor to enhance video quality, reduce video noise and image blur.
