Product functions as is advertised by Fuji. Setup and initial use were very easy, had it fully functional within 5 minutes out of the box. I'm taking one or two shots a day with the camera as part of a 365 project. The camera is light, making it easy to take wherever with you.
I wish there would be a way to turn the flash off since it affects pictures of close subjects so much, but I knew that this wasn't an option with this camera when I ordered it.
Only frustrating thing so far about it has been dialing it to one of the outdoor settings based on lighting conditions and getting a dark and cloudy shot (potentially as a result of the camera compensating for flash and just getting the overall exposure incorrect for what I wanted). It's made outdoor shots really hit and miss, and at $0.75-$1.00 a sheet depending on where you buy the film, hit and miss gets expensive.

Instead of a photo booth at a wedding we used a couple of these at a wedding. It was passed along perfectly and the photos was collected after to create a huge collage.

got this as something to have fun with, and to add pix immediately to scrapbooks, without having to order and wait for prints...film is kinda pricey, considering how used to digital we are, not being able to take multiple shots and just "delete" takes some getting used to again!

I've always wanted to buy an instant camera but since I'm not familiar with this kind of camera I had to research which one is better for my use. And in every website I looked at, Instax Mini 7S always comes at the top. It's very easy to use and cheaper compared to other instant camera

Great camera, easy to use and take good quality photos. Batteries included were also a great bonus as you can take it straight out of the box, point and shoot.

used this camera at a party. it's a fun way to get people to socialize, and adds variety from regular digital prints. the shape of the photos isn't quite as interesting as polaroids, but this is a good alternative for the price. takes good photos indoors; haven't tried it outside yet. it's a little bulky to take around.

I ordered these cameras for my wedding guests' gift bags... I thought it would be fun to have each guest take some pics with an instant camera, so I bought them each a camera and a pack of film. It turned out great, the camera was very easy to use and created pics with great color--better than you would expect from an instant. The casing isn't as huge/awkward as it looks, it's easy to snap and shoot and to take self portraits as well. Plus, it's not as expensive as other instants. I would recommend this camera to anyone that's interested in purchasing an instant camera.

Sole intent of buying this was to be able to provide people I would photograph in the street with an inage they could keep. I shoot digitally and it is nice to be able to provide a hard copy print to someone who is unlikely to either give me their email address, or have access to a computer. For less than $1 per shot, the subject is very happy and I have no problem getting them to pose for my "real" camera.

My husband bought this as a gift for me. I was "iffy" at first because of the small size of the prints - but they are great! The camera is somewhat bulky but I can easily slip it into my purse to take with us when we go out. It's easy to use and has different 'modes' for indoor, cloudy, sunny, & very sunny.

Takes a few seconds to start-up which is kind of a bummer when trying to quickly capture a moment before it passes. Just take note that the viewfinder is not lined up exactly with what the lens will capture - but after a few pictures we have been able to figure where to align in the viewfinder to capture what we want.

Over all its a great instant camera to have fun with!

This is a fun, cute, compact replacement for my polaroid camera. I love the color and the bubble/smooth rounded shape. Easy to load.

Great functional camera, cute and quirky design!

For those used to using small compact cameras it may seem to be a little bulky the first time using it.

Big con for me is the on/off switch is pulling the lens in and out, and once you operate the camera the lens doesn't go all the way in.. It juts out a little.

Otherwise it is fun to use and creates beautiful pictures.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas and it was truly a hipster's delight. It's a great camera at a great price for a lot of value. Works like a charm!

PROS:
-- The pictures are as good as digital photos.

-- Easy to use; and it does come with a strap

-- The cost of the film (71 cents a picture) can be less than the cost of our time and hassle of processing pictures via computer, not to mention the irritating lag-time, or nagging guilt for not wanting to deal with sorting through all those digital photos. Time is money; and stress can drain our productive energy.

-- Also, people seem to treasure these instant 'gift' photos far more than digital ones sent to them (later) by email. Their value may be greater since the fleeting moment is precious.

-- With this camera, at least I know for sure that every photo I shoot WILL get developed, here and now. Am I the only one with a backlog of years of digital photos, still untouched on the chips, which I can't seem to motivate myself to process? No more!

-- The flash works very well (except in extreme darkness or brilliant light).

HINTS (To not waste a single shot):
-- remember to shift the focus circle slightly to left of center
-- leave a little extra room at top and bottom
-- in doubt, opt for cloudier setting, to avoid slight white-out

USES:
Family gatherings; to encourage socializing, say, as souvenir gifts at baby showers, halloween kids' costumes; developing rapport with locals while traveling; shots of wild turkeys, deer, bald eagles; bad weather: cars in floods, cars buried under MN snow

I hope more people will get instant cameras so the film may soon be more available locally. Also, I want to get another (bigger) version for occasional larger pictures.

Don't you think we might end up continuing to call these photos "polaroids" no matter what manufacturers name them? I miss not being able to use my perfectly good polaroid camera (because no more is film being made).

I got this as a Christmas gift from my daughter.
