Comments about Pentax Optio E80 Digital Camera (Black):
I use this camera for all day shooting, school, job and hanging out with friends. Good things about the camera are for example the auto scene mode, don't worry about choosing parameters, panomaric pictures are readily available with a clever way to place one side of the picture over another and get the job, and one of the catching features, super high ISO, common cameras in the same price range got from ISO 1250 to ISO 1600, and this camera got ISO 6400, way more than standard, and can take pictures, where most can't... The only bad thing is that the camera got some noise over higher ISO settings, fortunately you can get pictures in low light...
For video, it get pretty good 640x480 avi movies, with a remarkable quality, overall excelent buy, no complains indeed, If you're on a budget, go for the pentax E80, don't let the megapixel race fool you, pentax E80 against a kodak with 12 MP and same price, the pentax is way better

Comments about Pentax Optio E80 Digital Camera (Black):
I was a little skeptical about this camera performance, but It did the job pretty wellThe camera is well built, a bit heavier than others but you know is tougher than othersThe iso rating is really high (up to 6400) and easily beats another similar priced cameras with it, maybe not the best quality, but it takes the picture, where some others can't... An the panoramic scene mode is really cool, well used you can take really nice outdoor picsThe only bad thing is that the camera has some noise ver high iso pictures, but since I'm not a professional camera shooter, I'm a rifle shooter, the camera works very fine for a college student...Fortunately you don't have to wait like 4 steady seconds for a low light shot, you only need half a second, that's something my kodak couldn't even dream about...So far so good, happy with my camera and the B&H support, [...]

Comments about Pentax Optio E80 Digital Camera (Black):
I use it as a carry around camera when I do not want the bulk of my D3. Its slim design fits nicely in a pocket or bag and it starts up pretty quickly. The big screen is a little bothersome because of fingerprints and the battery life is average. The preset parameters are easily switched between and provide enough choices that the more manual program setting are not really needed by the average photographer. I recommend this as an inexpensive camera that I think is comparable to more expensive models.
