Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 Digital Camera (Blue):
I was looking for a compact camera that can go easily in the pocket. After comparing the dimensions of DMC ZS3, I decided to go with this. After receiving it, I was impressed with how compact it is.
Pros:
1. Wide angle
2. Small size
3. Bright LCD
4. Very good zoom range.
Cons:
1. Indoor performance is not consistent. Sometimes, the focus is not sharp, sometimes it is too grainy.
2. Battery life could be better.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 Digital Camera (Blue):
this was a replacement to a pocket camera to just have all the time when you need to take a picture but not carry a slr camera. so far it has exceeded all our thoughts as to how it would be. and the color is really cool
Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 Digital Camera (Blue):
I absolutely love it. It is small, but it knows a LOT. Easy to use (I never actually had to read the manual) and it fits everywhere. Great picture quality. The camera mode is very good too, even though it does not record HD the film still comes out very enjoyable.
I love the vivid blue outside color too.
Overall I am very pleased, and it is the best product for this price.

Comments about Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 Digital Camera (Blue):
Saw this camera on the Panasonic web site a month before it was actually released, then bought it just in time for a long vacation in the Cyclades and ended up taking more than 1000 pictures. The selling points for me were the large zoom range (including wide angle and telephoto) combined with a good lens, high-res 12.1 Mpix CCD, and relatively small size. These features work very nicely as advertised, plus there are many other great features of the camera, including full HD video, image stabilization, and a long list of software selectable controls and features. I find that the many features are easy to use/discover and intuitive to navigate (wish I could say the same for my Panasonic DVD recorder!). A minor disappointment is that you have to remove the battery to recharge, which is easy, but I would have ideally preferred a direct USB interface for power and communications. Overall very pleased.
