International orders*The Tenba Rain Cover is a no-seam, one piece construction of thin 200D waterproof coated nylon pack cloth that covers from the lens hood to the viewfinder and wraps under and around the camera so you can keep on shooting in bad weather. Thin nylon allows for feeling and changing of film. The rain cover attaches with touch fastener to the lens hood and the camera base. A slit beneath the lens enables the camera to be hand held or mounted on a tripod. You can see through the clear plastic viewfinder on the rain cover. You operate the camera through the nylon pack cloth. The back bellows out so that it can be swung open and film changed while still under rain protection.
Dimensions: 14" (356mm) long; The RC14 fits a camera with an 80-200mm lens and hood.

Comments about Tenba RC14 Rain Cover - 14", Black:
This item is very difficult to use under the best of conditions. It is simply a piece of fabric and some velcro. There are no instructions on the optimal way to wrap this around the camera and lens. I cannot imagine putting this on my camera during an approaching storm. [...]

Had this for over 18 months. I live in a wet, cold coastal climate and I often must shoot in brutal storms. This rain cover has never leaked and has always held up against even gale force winds. However, getting this thing onto the camera and then shooting with it is very difficult. I suppose if you are shooting on a tripod and not moving around a lot this would be great, but for hand-held shooting it's not fun. It's difficult to get it to fit the camera and lens, and the plastic back is hard to see through. It's hard to use the buttons on the back of the camera through the plastic. Making the thing stay in place is another challenge altogether.I'll be getting another, better one for this winter but the Tenba will probably still stick around as a backup to use in a pinch.
Expertise: Professional
Problems Encountered: Hard to make it fit onto the camera/lens.Plastic back too thick to operate rear controls.Hard to see through viewfinder.
Comments about Tenba RC14 Rain Cover - 14", Black:
The good. The cover comes in a nice nylon belt sack. The notso good. There are no instructions. The velcro sewn into thecover was coming off at the seams in two places. When Ipeeled the fuzzy side from the sewn on hooky side the hookyside's threads began popping. I'm not sure if this was sewnin some Sri Lankan sweat shop or what. For 40 bucks a pieceof nylon with some velcro sewn on should at least have solidseams. I guess I'll sew the velcro in myself.
Expertise: This is my first rain cover.
Problems Encountered: Cheap sewing.
