If power is what you crave when cranking up your favorite tunes, you finally may have met your match in the Sony LBT-GTZ4i Mini Hi-Fi Component System. With 550W of total music power, the Sony delivers explosive sound that will shake your windows and rattle your walls. You'll be rocking around the clock when you fill the 3-disc changer with your favorite CDs. And you'll be enjoying crisp, clean sound through the system's 3-way bass-reflex speakers with dual woofers for superior sonic accuracy.
The system can handle commercial CDs as well as those you and your friends have recorded, including MP3s, WMAs, and AACs. Play your discs straight through, or let the Sony system mix it up for you in program, repeat, and shuffle modes. You can tailor your tunes to your liking with the system's 3-band graphic equalizer, or use the 8 preset EQ settings.
Prefer the playlists on your iPod? Snap it into one of the Sony's two USB ports, and use the full-function remote control to take charge of your tunes. And speaking of taking charge, the LBT-GTZ4i will charge your iPod to full power. Like another way to take your music with you? Use the USB ports to record it on a flash drive for easy portability.
When you want the pros to pick the playlists, switch to the AM/FM tuner. You can choose the stations manually, or program the radio's 10 AM and 20 FM presets for easy selection. If you'd like to plug in your other audio gear, the Sony has an analog audio jack for your video game system, turntable, or cassette player. Just plug them in, and give your memories a sonic boost.
Like to sing along with your music? The front-panel mic inputs let you belt out a tune. You decide if you want to close the door and pretend you're on American Idol. And when it's time to hit the hay, the LBT-GTZ4i can rock you to sleep with its sleep timer, and then turn itself off. In the morning, it can wake you to the tracks you didn't get to hear.
For a powerful, easy-to-use music machine, the Sony LBT-GTZ4i is all you need to keep rockin' the night away.

We haven't had the unit long, but it sounds great and everything works perfectly. Our only problem was we hooked up our turntable and for some reason the sound is not very loud. We have to turn it all the way up and even then it is not very loud.

Comments about Sony LBT-GTZ4i Mini Hi-Fi Component System:
I pick this product due to the 2 x USB port in the front and it's a Sony Hi-Fi component... what else you can ask! This product is what you need to make yours parties more dynamics and easier connecting ANY device using a USB port but at the same time you have 3 x CD trays! This is a 2.1 surround sound (Left, Right and Sub-woofer) and has a lot of power (550 Watts)... If you need more details check the specifications... Don't be afraid of purchasing this item or purchasing in B&H due to both are AWESOME !!!
Thank you B&H... I got the best price right now in the market of this item with YOU !!!
B&H rocks !!!!

Comments about Sony LBT-GTZ4i Mini Hi-Fi Component System:
Just your basic stereo. It has sufficient versatility to do a whole lot more than I'll ever need. I just want something that lets me listen to my classical cds. I had a smaller Sony but - foolish me - I let the jerk-formally-known-as-my-wife keep it.
The sound on that unit was really extraordinary. From such a small unit came a really big, clear sound. This unit has similar features but I haven't been able to find anywhere near the same clarity and crispness across the dynamic range. Still, for under $300, it's fine. The real problem is I'm in an apartment with neighbors. I can't play things particularly loudly. I miss the fullness of the former unit at moderate volumes.

Comments about Sony LBT-GTZ4i Mini Hi-Fi Component System:
Very large set. I use in class at a gym. Have a rolling cart or permanent fixture for this system. If using your Ipod, your recording should have a low bass line. The bass on this system is too strong. The ground actually vibrates. Once I find room for this monster, it will be a good addition to my program. In the meantime, too heavy to lug around.
