The Eee Box HD from ASUS is a compact desktop computer. The small computer is the epitome of elegance, boasting pleasing aesthetics and extremely quiet operation. The system features an HDMI output for HDTV connectivity, and a dedicated hardware decoder for HD video, making it a great choice for use as part of a home theater system. Its full-featured media player and wireless keyboard and mouse make it an ideal platform for delivering digital and Internet video to your living room.
The Eee Box manages to balance performance, size, and power consumption. While its Atom CPU may not be the fastest in the world, it generates less heat and consumes less power than high-end desktop CPUs. This allows the Eee Box to be small and quiet, while still providing enough processing horsepower to run multimedia, home, office, and Internet applications.
The system is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, and boasts 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive capacity, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and ATI Radeon HD 4530 graphics. The computer's operating system is Windows XP Home. It uses up to 90% less energy than typical desktop computers, and generates only 26dB of sound when in use.

I use this little machine for netflix on my home television. It doesn't take much energy to run. Doesn't take up any real space. The only wires are for power and hdmi out. It works great and the wireless keyboard and mouse are excellent. Couldn't ask for anything better for the price.

i love this little guy. its so small you dont even know its around. the wireless keyboard and mouse that come with the Eeebox have great range and just work well. i have this pc hooked up via hdmi to a 32" hdtv in my bedroom so i can kick back and watch instant netflix. i did buy a external harddrive to store downloaded music. the trouble ive had is the Asus update program gives me trouble but could be me. Anyone who purchases will be satisfied. good luck
