The My Essential G Router from Belkin is a wireless Internet router, a device which allows you to share your Internet connection among the computers in your home network. It supports the standard 802.11g Wi-Fi protocol, and is backwards compatible with legacy 802.11b devices. Four wired Ethernet ports are available, allowing you to connect systems that lack Wi-Fi capability.
Configuration is completed through an easy-to-use web-based interface, which allows you to administer the router from a PC or Mac system. Standard WPA and WEP encryption protocols are built in to the router, protecting your network from intruders. The router is capable of providing up to 400 feet of coverage.
