With 2600 ANSI lumens and a 500-1 contrast ratio the Canon LV-7275 has the projection power required to display bright, sharp images in less than ideal conditions like classrooms and boardrooms that are only partially darkened.
This projector features network connectivity so it can report an error condition and even send an email when its lamp is at the end of its useful life. Speaking of useful life, the LV-7275 has one of the best warranties in the industry, three years parts and labor—one of the more obvious signs of the quality Canon builds into its products.
The LV-7275 boasts not only of quality but quantity of useful and unique features. It can decode and display closed captioning from programming sources that provide it. Its onscreen menu can be displayed in 21 different languages. Its color correction technology can compensate for projection surfaces from green chalk boards to light rose walls and six more shades with equal facility. And it can even dramatically lessen the "hot spot" that often obscures the middle of images projected onto a whiteboard.
Other features you'll enjoy include a 1.2 manual optical zoom, automatic vertical keystone correction plus or minus 30 degrees, a seven watt speaker and fan noise that ranges from 35 dB in Normal Mode (which is literally whisper quiet) down to only 29 dB in Quiet Mode.

Comments about Canon LV-7275 2600 Lumens XGA Projector:
My projector is typically used about 20-25 feet from the screen(almost exclusively a white wall) for projection of PowerPoint-type programs. It works very well within those parameters.
The projection range could probably be extended, but I have had no requirement to do so. There is no glare within about 30 feet.
The remote control provided with the projector works well in intitial setup for a program (focus, keystone), but has no direct computer interface, so it is of little use during a presentation. This is probably just as well: too many controls are confusing to the presentor.
On the other hand, it seems a trivial solution to integrate any PC/MAC, and put all the controls on a single paddle.

Very light and compact! Not bulky and heavy like the old models used about 10 years plus ago.

Comments about Canon LV-7275 2600 Lumens XGA Projector:
We bought the Canon LV-7275 for the training room of our volunteer fire department. We mounted it on the ceiling, put up a screen and were ready to start watching training videos and presentations. Great product with a clear, sharp picture. User friendly, on screen menu.
I wouldn't buy manufacturer recommended ceiling mount. We got a Mustang (Model: MV-PROJSP-FLAT) universal mount much cheaper and it works great.
