I use the webcam for my son who is in Afghanistan. although he was just deployed and is not able to use his p.c. yet, I have been able talked to his wife in California.When he gets a break from this war, he will be able to contact me, and I can see how he is doing, instead of just email, I can actually see him, and talk live, for a mother, that is the best thing, to see how your child is doing in a situation that is nerve racking enough. It has a great picture. the audio is super. this is my first webcam and I love it!!!

This webcam gives a great picture at a moderate price. It features a combined camera and microphone, plugs into the USB port and after loading the drivers, you are ready to skype in minutes. Be sure to select the Logitec webcam while in the skype program; otherwise it will try to use the dafault microphone in your computer and you won't get any sound. Nothing fancy here, just a good, better than average webcam.

Just plug it in, and Skype is making video calls. Microphone works well with laptop speakers. We got one for us and one for grandparents so we can now enjoy video calls, and it works great thus far. I wish my employer had such simple and effective tools.
