The recorder also features an earphone jack, the option to be powered using an AC adapter, and a convenient hand strap.
When it comes to functions, the Standard Cassette Voice Recorder provides a number of choices. I transcribe many, many physician's notes....this is the best unit I have used over the past ten years, and the microphone makes it easier for the physician who is going through notes as they are recording.

Comments about Sony TCM-200DV Standard Cassette Voice Recorder:
I bought this recorder to play some old cassette tapes. So far it is working fine, for a small unit the sound is acceptable. I haven't used the VOR function yet. I am using NiMH rechargeable batteries that are working fine.
A good, compact cassette player/recorder - would recommend to friends.

Comments about Sony TCM-200DV Standard Cassette Voice Recorder:
Some folks think a recorder is a recorder. Not this one. The reason I bought the TCM-200DV is it's ability to record to pitch. AND it's the only one that does it in this price range. I teach the hammered dulcimer and always record my students next tune. After they learn it, they can play along with me and it doesn't sound ugly. Perfect recorder for my music world.

Comments about Sony TCM-200DV Standard Cassette Voice Recorder:
The voice recorder is easy to use and fits comfortably in the hand. It is economical, using only 2 batteries and the cassette tapes are available in many retail stores. The recording has good clarity when played on the transcriber. Our office has used this product for many years and it is always reliable.
