The Pelco DX8100XPEUP DX8100 Upgrade to XPe features an 8- or 16-channel Mux card option that enhances the ability of the DVR in streaming videos to the VGA and composite monitor port at up to 480/400 images per second for live viewing. Additionally, the option offers a second, low-resolution composite monitor output to display cameras in CIF resolution. This makes the upgrade suitable for viewing multiple cameras live, thus enhancing your surveillance.
The Upgrade to XPe incorporates layer 2 multi-casting feature which eliminates the barrier of five remote connections to one server in multi-cast enabled local area network. However, this feature is for live view only and restricted to web browser access, thus ensuring the safety of your surveillance footage without compromising the ease of sharing them.
The upgrade features two standard on-board audio channels. This is useful for users who need limited audio recording capability. Additionally, the optional 8- or 16-channel audio cards offer one audio channel for every video channel in 8, 16, 24, and 32-channel systems.
The DX8100 Upgrade to XPe has a quick icon feature which ensures effective time management and easy functioning. This provides a clear view of live or playback video from the server console. When on full screen mode, user interface and menus can be retrieved by a simple right mouse click on the screen.
The data retention time limit custom mode allows for manual entry of the custom number of days in one day increments up to 60. Moreover, the files with later dates are not accessible to unauthorized personnel. The upgrade also provides export and print buttons from the copy of backed up data and proves convenient for evidence reproduction.
