I wanna give it 3 stars because it's not perfect for my application - but you can't fault it really. Nice case, nice padding. Tight fit for Asus g73 unfortunately. Cool pockets but once the Laptop is in there accessories pretty much be flat (no thicker than brick). I like it. Comfy shoulder strap. Nice looks. Probably beatable but this stay really compact - and that's better than having a suitcase style carry...

It is exactly what you would want to carry around a big notebook. It's light, the velcro straps adjust so it can be packed tightly, and there is enough room for the extra stuff you need to carry around, mouse, charger, etc. It is not heavy duty protection, but that's not usually what I need or want.

When I bought the 17.3" laptop, no one said anything about how difficult it would be to find a protective case for it. This case is nicely padded and well-priced. (Most cases marked as large enough are not. --or you need to use some muscle/creativity to force the issue...not quick, not convenient.) This case is big enough to slip the laptop in/out easily, and has ability to adjust to laptops of several sizes. There are 2 outside pockets: 1 zippered, front, with possibilities for carrying (in my case)a small, flat purse. On other side, 1 large VERY flat pocket with center top hook/loop closure can handle file folder or two with care. Outside that pocket, is a slip sleeve for attaching this case to handle of rolling bag. Inside: 2 pockets, side x side, I use one for connection cord, one for CDs. Room for file folders or a slim notebook or a book in main compartment. Plastic handles snap together for comfortable carry; there is also a comfortable shoulder strap. Main reason for the bag is to house/protect the laptop when not in use, and it does that. It must also safely transport the laptop to evening classes where I teach. It won't carry a lot more than the laptop, so don't be thinking you can pack an extra outfit or use it for a single overnight bag. On the other hand, because of its size and the size of the laptop you are probably buying it for, it may be good(weight-wise) that it won't handle a lot of extra material. Color choice would've been nice.

Seems like a quality and durable bag so far. Qosmio fits nicely in it. If using for Qosmio you may want to consider getting backpack though it does get heavy to lug around.

I was skeptical about this case simply because one this size is so hard to find. I felt like I had no choice but would be happy with this one even if I'd had many to consider. It's well made so I feel my laptop is secure and safe inside, plenty of room for everything I need to pack with me and still easy enough to take on a flight. Easy to use, easy to wipe clean and easy to carry. Love it!

I use this case every day. It's big enough for my ASUS N73JNX1 laptop with just enough room to spare for a moderate amount of paperwork, plus cellphone, mouse, cord, etc. The case is well padded & has a key clip. It's a great value.
