California Sunbounce Mini Sun-Bounce Kit - Zebra/White Screen (3x4')
The California Sunbounce system consists of a collapsible aluminum frame that can be easily assembled and combined with different reflecting, light-reducing, or light-absorbing screens to take full advantage of any kind of light, hard or soft, natural or artificial. This California Sunbounce Mini Sun-Bounce Kit - Zebra/White Screen (3x4') includes the lightweight (less than 4 lbs), stable, anodized aluminum frame, a reversible zebra/white screen, and a shoulder bag to hold the frame and screen. The zebra side reflects a warm, slightly contrasty light, the white side reflects a softer, diffused light. The frame is designed with an integrated crossbar and clamp so that it can be comfortably held in many different ways--by hand or by attaching it to a tripod, for instance. The frame and screen fold to fit into the included shoulder bag.

This item does not bounce or reflect light - it transcends the light source onto the subject in the most beautiful, flawless way. There is such a quality and character to the light this item creates - even flat lighting is a little more exciting with the CA Sun-Bounce. In our industry, lighting is everything, and you really get what you pay for with the Sun-Bounce. Also, do yourself a favor, just pay a little bit more for the Zebra - I've always hated gold reflectors due to their hard/crunchy gold overtone. The zebra is delicate and subtle, and a must have.
Setup and break-down is very easy. This is also the most light weight, balanced, and stable reflector there is.
I promise you will not be disappointed with this purchase, nor will you ever feel guilty for spending the money on a 'reflector' - especially after you use it for the first time.

i love the zebra fabric, not too warm, not too bright. i haven't figured out the optional bracket yet, but as of now the only draw back i can find is the expense.

The frame and material hold up very well in outdoor conditions and the quality of light from the zebra fabric is stunning. It is incredibly lightweight and very easy to handle even in strong wind.
It is a little tricky to setup the first couple times. I recommend letting the material stretch on the frame for a couple hours before disassembling for the first time.

This is absolutely wonderful. I can't believe the images I'm getting using this sunbounce. The hype is true. It's lightweight, easy to setup, easy to handle. This is by far an essential tool I have when shooting outdoors. If you want pictures that will set you apart from your competition, this this is the product for you. I prefer this over the 4x6. It works great for singles and couples shots.
