The California Sunbounce system consists of a collapsible aluminum frame that can be easily assembled and combined with different reflecting, light-reducing, or light-absorbing screens to take full advantage of any kind of light, hard or soft, natural or artificial. This California Sunbounce Pro Sun-Bounce Kit - Silver/White Screen (4 x 6') includes the lightweight (less than 4 lbs), stable, anodized aluminum frame, a reversible silver/white screen, and a shoulder bag to hold the frame and screen. The silver side is for reflecting strong contrasty light, the white side reflects a softer, diffused light. The frame is designed with an integrated crossbar and clamp so that it can be comfortably held in many different ways--by hand or by attaching it to a tripod, for instance. The frame and screen fold to fit into the included shoulder bag.

This is a nice large reflector that is really strong and well thought out. The build quality is top notch and it looks like it will last a long time. I was surprised how light but robust the whole unit is. Nothing negative to say apart from it being a bit of a task to pack/unpack.

I used this for the first time on a shoot and we had to light in a tiny office. My lighting director used it at the end of the narrow office to bounce the key and fill. Looked beautiful. It is a great compliment to all the lighting tools that we currently have. Light and easy to use.

The biggest test for location equipment here in the islands is how well it holds up to the sun and the trade winds. This product holds up well and is by far the best reflector I've ever used. The smart engineering of the frame work holds the reflector material drum tight and is well designed to be easily held by assistants or rigged to grip equipment. I would give it a 5 star rating however, the silver fabric does wear out a little faster than other reflector fabrics I've used in the past.

This really is a great bounce card. We just used it on a shoot where there was no way to bring in supplemental lighting and it rocked. Perfect amount of surface area to throw tons of controllable light. I would have given it 5 stars but I think it's slightly difficult to stretch the fabric over the supports. Not a one man job by any means. Other than that it's leaps and bounds better than any bounce card we've ever used. Well worth the extra money over cheaper cards.

I used it several times outdoor, and it works great. The reflector is large enough to get even soft lighting on the white side and not blind the models. Its light weight allow anyone to really be able to handle it and it collapsibility allows me to bring it anywhere conveniently. Only issue that I am concern about is the silver fabric wearing out quickly over time.
