The Sony Memory Stick Duo & SD USB Card Reader/Writer can read and write images, data, audio and movies from Memory Stick Duo, SD and SDHC cards. Because of the USB 2.0 interface, it is lighting fast. It easily plugs into the USB port on your computer and does not require batteries or AC power, since it draws power right from the USB port. The Reader/Writer is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh Systems without any need for installing drivers or other software.

I carry this device in my camera backpack no matter where I'm going. People are always asking me for copies of my photos and this way I can off load them to their computer without muss or fuss. The device is made to be portable & I have yet to find a system with which it will not interface. My only concern is that being so portable, I might easily lose it.

Well-built, easy-to-use USB SDHC card reader. I just wish it utilized the spring-click mechanism that "locks" the card in the reader. I've gone through several USB readers since they will no longer hold the card snugly in place.

Easy to use, It is perfect to transfer photos to PC without waste camara´s battery.
I would like to add a key chain at least between the reader and it´s cap to avoid lost it.
I use it with MS and it works fine.

Only tried this on one computer so far, but I am betting it works fine on others. Ordered this with an 8gb memory stick. Never fails to come across a family member with an ancient PC that has no card reader. This helps save loads of time trying to get photos off the camera and on to their system.

Allows reading of the small memory stick and SD cards without having to find a cable to hook up the actual camera or other device that the card is being used in. I used it for both types of cards. Only drawback is that the width was an issue on my daughter's computer that has a door that covers the USB port. When we opened the door I couldn't insert this reader/writer because it bumped into the door. Don't have this problem on my own computer but others may find it problematic.
