Boris Continuum Complete 6 FxPlug (Academic) from Boris FX is designed for use with Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and Apple Final Cut Express. It features over 200 filters, including Extruded Text, Extruded EPS, Extruded Spline, Type-On Text, Layer Deformer, Smooth Tone, DV Fixer, Pixel Fixer, and a Swish Pan transition, among others. This application takes advantage of Apple FxPlug's real-time architecture for simultaneous live previews of dozens of preset transitions, glow, color, and film-look effects in a newly-designed effects browser window.

This version includes a 3D Objects category of 3D OpenGL extruded text generators
New "digital repair" filters include Smooth Tone, DV Fixer, and Pixel Fixer
Over 1500 factory-installed presets are included
XML preset format means presets can be modified with a standard text editor
A new single-click custom-preset navigation tool eases effect selection
OpenGL hardware-accelerated vertex and pixel shaders are available
New shaders technology is included
It includes motion tracking data import and export
Volumetric lighting effects and glows are standard features
Specular lighting special effects include Glint, Glare, and Glitter
Compositing tools include Light Wrap and Matte Choker
Natural effect generators offer Snow, Rain, Fire, and Stars
Motion Key is available for automated foreground object removal
Film Look effects include Bleach Bypass, Damaged Film, and Grain Match
Optical flow-based image retiming and motion blur effects are included
Automated optical image stabilization is available without the use of point trackers
Onscreen controls are supported for easy parameter set-up
