Reception excellent.
Battery Level after 7days = 1.4vdc, down from 1.6vdc at outset.
Average use is 7hrs / day, weekdays Only.
Single AA battery appears sufficient.
Losing some reception at 1.39vdc, after 10 days.
Controls are recessed nicely, no snags on adjacent items.

I bought this radio for listening while riding public transit. I'm letting go of my car and plan to ride the bus to work and other activities and I thought I could make this quite enjoyable with a good radio. My Sony Walkman Radio brings my fav classical music station in Watertown US as clear as a bell and my fav Canadian Talk Show station. I love it!

Use out in the greenhouse or other lonely chores. Reception good and only takes one AA Battery. Headphones just OK, but what do you expect for about $20?

I use this walkman while I walk my dog. It is inexpensive and works like a charm. I would recommend it to anyone.

It doesn't have buttons but they are not needed if you listen to only a few different stations. The clip that fits on the belt does come loose easily, but the radio is so small that is fits in a shirt pocket.

I have a radio upstairs and downstairs. I have bought one to be used by an old lady in hospital and now a visitor of hers wants one. It is a great success.

I find the battery container a little difficult to open but understand that it needs to be that way.

The tuning, volume, and am/fm controls take a little learning and then are very easy to use in the dark.

I think it is an absolutely wonderful, wonderful radio for someone who wants to move around and still be tuned in

I use this radio to listen to NPR while working out at the gym. It works great when paired with a set of sweat-proof headphones. You'll see from online reviews that this is one of the best pocket radios available at any price. The lack of digital tuning is a small price to pay for great radio reception.

I use this radio with an ear bud every weekday on my bicycle commute. I also take it on campouts and urban trips away from home so I can listen to NPR at night. Having AM and FM is a real benefit as I often find myself where there are no FM stations. It uses one AA battery which lasts for hundreds of hours. I have had several of these units over the years. I tend to give them away to my friends who need one.
